Police release driver but investigation is ongoing

Lincolnshire Police have released the driver of a white BMW One Series

that collided with a building on Wharf Road in Stamford in the early hours of Monday morning. A 32 year old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, taking a car without the owner's consent. and other traffic related offences. No injuries were reported and work has been undertaken to make sure the building is safe. Officers say their investigation continues. The incident happened at around 2:40 on Monday morning.
