Community Radio Awards 2026

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to congratulate us on our Gold award for Celebrating and Championing Radio of the Year at the Community Radio Awards. We were so overwhelmed by the surprise on Saturday, as we were up against really amazing work from other wonderful community radio stations.

The 5th Birthday day was an event to truly celebrate our local people and places, something we are lucky enough to champion every day through our own air coverage, social media, website, events we attend, Business Club and Evening of Sport, amongst others.

This award is for the continued work of all our presenters and volunteers on air and behind the scenes. And also for our listeners and community who trust us to cover their local stories and events.

The full press release is available here.

It was so lovely to meet and connect with other community radio stations from across the UK at the awards and to hear about their work at the @ukcommunityradio
conference too.

We were also finalists for our digital content, so we've been highlighted nationally for our regular updates on the radio, social media and our website. You can be assured of high-quality, regular updates on local info and community content on our website, app, social media and of course on the radio.
