People in Rutland are being asked to give their views on the future of the county in a new initiative launched on 1 April. Called “The Future Rutland Conversation”, everyone who lives or works in the county is being invited to participate, along with visitors to the area.
The Future Rutland Conversation is an initiative from Rutland County Council. The authority says it wants to have meaningful conversations about a wide range of topics including the environment, health and leisure A series of online meetings will be held where people can talk direct to the Leader of the Council, and its Chief Executive. There are also events planned to allow children to have their say. The authority says all the information collected will be used to create future council strategies and polities. The Future Rutland Conversation will run throughout April and May. For more information and to complete the online surveys, visit: https://future.rutland.gov.uk/future-rutland-conversation
