Oakham’s Brewery Tap is marking 30 years since brewing began with live music and drinks promotions.
Grainstore started in early September 1994 and their beer can now be enjoyed all over the country. Celebrations began at the Bank Holiday August Beer Festival, which was the 24th annual event to take place at the pub on Station Approach. This week they've been inviting traders to events in the lead up to this weekend. This all started by Tony Davis. He took his experience from Ruddles to create another legendary brand for the county. These days it's owned by Will Davis, his son. and also Peter Atkinson.
‘Thirty good solid years. I think it started with Tony just opening a bar and a little brewery upstairs and we are where we are today. We are a multi award-winning brewery and bar'.
