Shop closure for Oakham florist

One of Oakham’s most familiar names on the High Street has closed the doors for the final time.

Sally Holmes has been a florist since 1975 and has had four different shops in the town centre during that time. Sally's continuing to work, but from home. She says she's had a great time being part of the local community

‘I loved every minute of it. I love the people. I've met some wonderful people. I've kept friends with all their families. It's been wonderful. It really has’.
