Rutland Police say they are working hard to make our town centres safer, more vibrant places for everyone to enjoy
as two dedicated officers conduct high visibility patrols in Oakham, Uppingham and Melton. They say they're taking firm action on shoplifting, phone thefts and anti-social behaviour and targeting their efforts in known hotspots with clear consequences for those who commit crime, including Criminal Behaviour Orders issued to prolific offenders. There will also be a Meet the Inspector events in all three towns on the 24th of July where you can speak directly with local policing leaders.
