As at 19 March, over 17,000 Covid vaccinations had been given to people at the Rutland COVID Vaccination Centre, including about 1,000 second vaccinations for people who had their first vaccination in the December clinics.
People who had their first vaccination before January 15th are now been invited to book their second vaccination, and people aged over 53 are being invited to book their first dose.
There is not expected to be any shortage of vaccine for second doses for those who received their first dose at the Rutland Covid Vaccination Programme. Whilst there is a national shortage of vaccine for first doses from 29 March, vaccine for second doses is available and set aside for those who are due to receive one.
