Rutland Police is continuing to stop vehicles believed to be linked to the supply of drugs in the county.
Yesterday officers followed the car from Uppingham to Oakham and found £1200 worth of suspected cocaine and a quantity of cash on the driver. He was arrested. A driver is also due in court for several motoring offences after being found with some missing documentation, officers were planning to issue a caution, but the driver drove away dangerously and collided with a member of the public who thankfully escaped uninjured.
