Hand crafted flowers are being handed in at the Uppingham Coop, ready for a community piece of artwork which will be brighten up the town during the autumn and winter months. Some of the flowers are knitted or crocheted, while others are made from paper or cardboard, or even aluminium.
There is still an opportunity to get involved, with people being invited to make flowers from any suitable materials. Flowers should be handed in at the Uppingham Co-op by October 17th. It is anticipated that the resulting flower installation will be made up of hundreds of individually crafted flowers. Email Angela.wilson@coop.co.uk for further information or to arrange collection of completed flowers if you are not able to make it to the Co-op.
