• Water problems in the Stamford area - the latest from Anglian Water

  A burst water main in the Stamford area has left hundreds of homes from Tickencote to Tallington with low pressure, or in many cases, no water. The incident was reported just before midday. Schools including St Augustine's, St George's and Malcolm Sargent were forced to close and send children home early. Stamford Arts Centre and Stamford Corn Exchange have both closed early, and cancelled their evening shows. Anglian Water says tankers are pumping more water into the system, and if you still don't have water and need some, they have a local collection point at Morrisons on Uffington Road
