A Stamford Theatre Group began its twelfth full musical in five years on Thursday.
Stamford Showstoppers brings A Chorus Line to the Corn Exchange, a show full of dance, audition and ambition, and one where the audience can really feel involved. The character of director sits among them. It runs until Saturday.
Here's the director in the show, Andrew Cleaver, with Becky Joyce, who plays Sheila.
"Most of the show, I kind of just sit in the audience, shout at them and they do what I say and I get to enjoy performances, it's great."
"Lots of dancing and things some of us have never done before, so it's a challenge with tap dancing, ballet dancing, yes, you name it, we're doing a bit of everything. So, yes, exciting."
